KingCast Inc. is pleased to announce commencement of operations in their new, 100,000 sq. ft. facility located at 695 Arvin Avenue, Stoney Creek, Ontario.
"Despite only being on site for two weeks, we’ve hit the ground running. I’m extremely proud of the operations team for expeditiously working towards this very important milestone,” remarked Lee Bonnar, Vice President of KingCast & King Luminaire Canada. “I thank our entire crew for their hard work and efforts. We look forward to building on this success, by expanding our capabilities in the days ahead."
KingCast intends to gradually ramp up casting production over the following twelve months. King Luminaire Canada is expected to move into the facility before the end of the year. Once completed, the combined companies will be able to offer clients a full suite of design, mold-making, machining, permanent and graphite mold casting, finishing, fabricating, and powder-coating solutions under one roof.
"Congratulations to the entire team at KingCast. While we’re proud of this achievement, it’s just the beginning,” commented Michael Schwenger, Jr., President & CEO of StressCrete Group. “KingCast will bring our Gold Standards in customer service and quality products to the metal casting industry. The combination of King Luminaire Canada and KingCast will be a formidable one-stop-shop for a broad range of customers in a wide array of industries. Ultimately, we expect to play a prominent role in the surrounding Hamilton area, benefitting our employees, their families, and our growing customer base."
