Sales Coordinator

Position Overview:

We currently have an opening in our Burlington, Ontario office for a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our Sales Team in the role of Sales Coordinator.

As our ideal candidate you are results -driven, well organized, and professional, with a proactive approach to your work. This role is instrumental in providing support to our sales team, facilitating a smooth transfer of information to ensure the needs of our customers are met. Excellent customer service and product promotion skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Territory Managers and outside Sales Reps with quoting, order tracking, and reporting.
  • Provide coverage for Territory Managers when out of the office for business travel and vacation.
  • Alongside the Territory Managers, aid in prospecting, new business development, lead generation, and customer outreach initiatives.
  • Be the lead on tradeshow logistics and coordination.
  • Assist the Customer Experience team with managing orders and providing support as required.
  • Build relationships and support outside sales agencies in a professional and timely manner.
  • Participate in industry events, attending tradeshows/association programs.
  • Work to become a product line expert on our StressCrete, King Luminaire, and Spartan product lines.
  • Assist in market research of new products and services.
  • Work within our ERP and other computer applications to provide support and information to Sales and Customer Experience (Seredex, Salesforce, CPQ).
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of market segments, key customers, and competitors.
  • Manage the main sales inbox and presales inbox, ensuring that information is delivered to the assigned account holders in a timely manner.
  • Assist in building and maintaining reports for the sales team.
  • Travel within North America as required.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.
  • Previous Sales experience considered an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Highly approachable individual with strong administrative skills.
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships and build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with MS Office Suite of products.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and other computer applications considered an asset.
