Responsibilities:
- Follow safe working procedures
- Operate various tools and machines in order to complete products to customer specifications
- Follow production schedules
- Complete work in an orderly and satisfactory manner
- Ensure work areas are kept clean
Requirements:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethics, and dependability
- Works well independently as well as effectively in a collaborative/team environment
- Demonstrates an interest in learning
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabricating environment (an asset)
- Forklift license (an asset)
Qualification Considerations
- Past foundry and/or machine shop experience (an asset)
- Experience operating any of the following: manual drills, hand sanders, bandsaw, belt sander, various hand filing tools
- Experience in casting aluminum and zinc products (an asset)
